Becoming a musical actress – that was the plan. Or a journalist. Oh yes, or an interior designer, of course. Actually, the only thing that could be ruled out was that I would take over my parents’ carpentry shop in the beautiful but extremely manageable Odenwald.

To escape this, I packed my bags, fled to exciting London and studied Creative Writing and New Broadcasting Media & Television.

Now, thanks to Brexit, I’ve made my way to Leipzig to join the SONS (and Daughters). Jackpot: Now I can finally live out my bossy side on set without apology.

And best of all – the call-sheet is a breeze, surrounded by great colleagues and Disney songs as background music!
